ALGIERS - The Algerian Production Fair (FPA) will be held from December 16 to 25 at the Palais des Expositions (Pins-Maritimes) in Algiers, the Algerian Society of Fairs and Exports (SAFEX) announced Thursday on its website. Canceled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this 29th edition is held under the slogan "Strategy, creativity, and efficiency: keys to economic development and access to foreign markets." The organizers anticipate the participation of more than 500 exhibitors and 50 startups in this event, bringing together producers and consumers, mobilizing all the pavilions of the Palais des Expositions, covering an area of more than 26,000 m². The FPA will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the organization of the event, which is expected to attract more than one million visitors, according to SAFEX. Several sectors will participate in the FPA, including the chemical and petrochemical industries, agri-food, public works, services, construction and building materials, electronics and household appliances, steelmaking, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and many others. The fair will showcase the capabilities of Algerian companies and strengthen the "Made in Algeria" label, as well as partnership opportunities in all sectors, and promote economic complementarity between the various local operators participating in the exhibition.
